ai 🌈 🌺I went to #HMart, the Korean-grocery store, in Kakaʻako this weekend. I live near #DonQuijote, by the Japan-based mega store, and my friend is moving from our area there, so we wanted to see it. There is a food court upstairs with a lot of space and these cool #Jinro soju frogs. One thing H-Mart lacks is integration with Hawaii culture in their food and store. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does make me appreciate Donki for it’s wider variety.
Carson HillMy dudes, I have concerns about the future of #UnsolicitedNoods. For about a year, I've enjoyed a bowl of fishy noodly goodness about twice a week. Get all my ingredients for 'em at #HMart, a grocery chain that imports the vast majority of their goods from Asia.
Trump's #tariffs are hitting the countries which export my favorite stuff the hardest. I can't afford my fancy noodles if they cost 40% more to buy. #TinnedFish, #seafood, #ramen... even seaweed. Fuck.

I went with coworkers for my first (long overdue) visit to an H-Mart. One happens to be conveniently located a block away from my office in downtown #Chicago. Had gyudon for lunch. It was delicious!
The 11yo decided he wants to watch #StrangerThings, and I'm enjoying rewatching it with him because it's great.
I've borrowed #CryingInHMart from my local #library. I've read the first chapter. I'd just like to say, I cry in #HMart for completely different reasons that Ms. Zauner cries.
