Northeast Seattle History Ride (2023 version) | Cascade Bicycle Club

Join us for a history ride from Lower Woodland Park on a 18.8 mile route around northeast Seattle at a Leisurely (10-12 mph average on flat ground) pace!

Wound up between I-405 & a freeway off ramp on my Renton History Ride which included stories of coal mine, brick plant, cow tunnel, dinner train, stolen totem poles, & more. Then, we enjoyed Renton River Days festival; fun day!

-1st bridge in the country to be built over a river
-yummy Cookie Monster cookie dough with ice cream as a nice treat

Had a great time leading my Georgetown & Duwamish History Ride today! We visited some historically, culturally, & ecologically significant sites & finished at the Georgetown Steam Plant (open to the public on 2nd Saturday of every month).

Georgetown & Duwamish History Ride | Cascade Bicycle Club

Join us for a history ride from Oxbow Park on a 15.1 mile route around Georgetown and parts of Tukwila at a Leisurely (10-12 mph average on flat ground) pace! We will meet at the Hat 'n' Boots in Oxbow Park (6430 Corson Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134). Parking can be found on adjacent streets. Transit access is from King County Metro Bus routes 60 and 124 each with stops nearby. 

I had an awesome time leading my Lake Union History Ride (2023 version) with a fun group today! Thank you Nick for sweeping; I joined Nick to check out the U District Street Fair which I learned is Seattle’s oldest. Lastly, my nosy cats had to go explore my apartment breezeway
