A ★★★★ review of The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan (2023)

A fairly good adaptation of the novel by Dumas. Excellent production value, with beautiful sets, costumes and effects.  Good casting, with a good lead helped with great support cast. Cassel and Duris are particularly excellent. A good effort to show the historical context. They took some liberties of course but it holds up pretty well and doesn’t distract from the story. Overall, a good historical fiction with a fairly realistic setup. I quite enjoyed it. Plus French actors in a French historical movie for a change, yay!
