Hungary, 1941. A rather ordinary, yet remarkable photo of villagers somewhere in Hungary, or possibly in Transylvania, Romania. The photo is from an album of photos that was found in a rubbish dump. These photos, taken by Károly Mikolay, have been digitised by Fortepan and added to their ever-growing collection that now has well over 200,000 photos.
