I have re-installed a couple dating apps… I know, I know… don't judge me. I'M BORED. Like I'm gonna be swiping 99.9% left, but at this point even that feels like a positive social interaction with a man. Whatever. I'll probably get sick of them in a week or so… BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT.

The point is, I'm super tickled with myself for the prompt-response I wrote…

I am making an effort to spend more time than I spontaneously would on profiles of people who are not white. It’s horrible to realize the internalized racism that makes me overlook BIPOC people.
