UPDATE | The Hind Rajab Foundation has intensified its legal action against Israeli comedian Guy Hochman by filing an urgent request for prosecution in the US. The filing is supported by an extensive evidentiary dossier alleging war crimes and direct incitement to genocide linked to Israel’s actions in Gaza. The move follows Hochman’s detention and prolonged interrogation in Canada at Toronto Pearson International Airport after authorities received the complaint and investigative materials. He was reportedly released only after intervention by the Israeli embassy. The request was submitted to the US Department of Justice ahead of Hochman’s planned appearance in New York City later today. The dossier details alleged violations of international humanitarian law and US federal statutes, including the War Crimes Act and the Genocide Statute, and includes evidence such as footage showing Hochman planting explosives at a mosque in Gaza.
