Kōko-en: Kies knirscht, Wasser liegt still, und hinten steht Himeji-jō in diesem Weiß, das so tut, als wäre „beeindruckend“ eine Understatement-Übung. „Weiße-Reiher-Burg“ passt leider viel zu gut – elegant, ruhig, und gleichzeitig ein ganzes „Bitte nicht anfassen“ aus Stein und Geschichte. Auf der Bank sitzen und merken: Manche Orte machen automatisch leiser, ohne zu fragen. #oskarundco #osawa #himejicastle

It's been a while since I last visited the huge, classical, mostly wooden, white architecture in Himeji. Fortunately, there are not many tourists on weekdays at this time of year, while the autumn leaves or cherry blossoms are beautiful during the busy seasons. (1/n)
