@robtherunt mentioned this car, the Hillman Husky, which appeared in the background of yesterday’s photo. The Rootes Group produced a succession of two-door estate Husky models based on the Hillman Minx, but the final version seen here was based on the rear-engined Imp. It was launched in 1967. This one was on display at The Great British Car Journey in 2023. Tomorrow, a rare sister model of the Husky.
