Yesterday, the Internet was cut off for all Australian Optus subscribers for several hours, and my wife, and I had to come to terms with life without the Internet.

We sat in a darkened lounge on the verge of tears. Together we remembered the old times, the good times when youthful laughter rang throughout our joyful house.

Trembling, we held hands and chanted:

Never more;
Miranda,
Never more.
Only the high peaks hoar:
And Aragon a torrent at the door.
No sound
In the walls of the Halls where falls
The tread
Of the feet of the dead to the ground
No sound:
But the boom
Of the far Waterfall like Doom.
