The has been a lot of rain recently so the Abhainn Loch na h-Oidhche was still flowing well and over the central stepping stones. I'd have got wet feet and is potentially dodgy if Skye slipped in. So we didn't cross. It's no bother, it still makes for a 7+ mile walk which is enough for a short winter's day.
This path at Glenmore always reminds me of one of those medieval dramas like Merlin, or Robin of Sherwood, this is exactly the location where we are about to be ambushed. 😮
But I have my doggie to protect me 🐾🐾

Finally managed to get out and hike for the first time this winter. Needless to say, the pups were thrilled to be back out on the trails!
