Today, I finally remembered to attach my Garmin to our dog on our hike. You can really see the bits where she runs back and forth and where she was on the lead. In the end she ended up doing at least 50% more distance than the two of us. #hikingwithdogs #dogsofmastodon

The has been a lot of rain recently so the Abhainn Loch na h-Oidhche was still flowing well and over the central stepping stones. I'd have got wet feet and is potentially dodgy if Skye slipped in. So we didn't cross. It's no bother, it still makes for a 7+ mile walk which is enough for a short winter's day.

This path at Glenmore always reminds me of one of those medieval dramas like Merlin, or Robin of Sherwood, this is exactly the location where we are about to be ambushed. 😮

There’s a group of 5 Corbetts just north of Tyndrum, Moray and I did most of them earlier in the year but missed out this one as it was just too hot. So we went back yesterday to do it, straight up and down from the A82.
One disadvantage of doing Corbetts is that there are far fewer opportunities to play in proper winter conditions, I got a brief chance to use my axe, just for confidence descending the soft snow from the summit.
