So, yesterdays hike was the first test for my new La Sportiva TX4 intended to replace the Scarpa Zodiac GTX.
Preliminary result: I like the TX4 for the ferrata, it's slim, gives more feedback, precise.
On the down side, its sides are noticably lower, it's easier to get rocks into your shoe and for walking on loose gravel the thin sole is way less comfortable.
Do I like the TX4? Yes, definitely. Does it everything the Zodiac does? I don't think so. I might need both 🥲

Petit butin en provenance de France dans les valises de mes parents. Ils ont donc réussi à faire entrer au pays un gros morceau de Saint-Nectaire (si vous êtes de Rennes, le fromager de la rue Saint Helier vaut le détour !) et surtout un saucisson, le tout sous vide!
