New #Wildfire southwest of #Kelowna and #WestKelowna in #Peachland. Started at approximately 2PM today by a vehicle fire on #Highway97. Highway 97 and #Highway97C are closed indefinitely. Official fire size as of 5PM is over 12 hectares and growing. Over 400 properties in Peachland have been evacuated and more are on alert.
