Kitchener high school student wants young people to get involved in politics
After realizing some of his classmates didn't know much about their local political leaders, Shaun Goyal, a Grade 9 student at Cameron Heights in Kitchener, decided to start an organization to change this. Youth Government is open to any high school students in Waterloo region and aims to meet with local MPs and MPPs from all parties.
