Researchers have homed in on a single gut microbe that acts to prevent fat gain, even with a high-fat diet. The discovery adds to the booming science of finding ways to enlist the microbes that already live in our bodies to help us improve our health.

We ran out of the 5% milkfat plain A2 yogurt so I used this sheep’s milk one. The sheep’s milk part is cool, but I don’t care for sweetened yogurt.. it worked in a pinch though.

Since I used a sweetened yogurt I didn’t add any fruit like I normally would. Sad face.

Fructose AND sucrose combined is terribly taxing on your body since one sugar hits your bloodstream to be metabolized and the other hits your liver 😵‍💫

All the fat, protein, and fiber helps to keep me feeling satisfied for hours. YAY !

PLUS it’s a huge help in keeping me regular 😆. Double YAY !

Have you ever fried HB eggs in butter (or other healthy fat)?? If not, you should! Eggs are great but can get tiresome, this is just a different texture and they absorb the fat really well this way too! I smash 'em first, or sometimes I cube them, but today I chopped them up and mixed them with some pork sausage, fried them in a half-stick of butter, then melted colby-jack over the top. Delicious!
