That's a wrap on @pgconfeu 2025 Rīga! It was an honour to be on the organising committee again. Proud of the "Establishing the #PostgreSQL Standard" #Community Event, our "How to Work With Other #Postgres People" panel, my book signing turnout, and our support for the #HiddenDisabilitiesSunflower. Huge thanks to the committees, volunteers, sponsors, speakers, and awesome attendees who made this possible. See you in the next one! 🤗

Boarded a flight from #frankfurt with the #hiddendisabilitiessunflower - the flight crew said that it was a neat coincidence as they'd just been briefed on it. I'm glad awareness is spreading!
I'm grateful to the kind staff at #atlanta airport who helped me get a #hiddendisabilitiessunflower lanyard when I was stressed out due to the procedure. It's a relief to have this extra symbol that asks for some extra space.

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation is proud to be a member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower - Australia & New Zealand initiative at the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 🌻

This program aims to support and raise awareness for those living with a hidden disability, and we have trained our staff to recognise the Sunflower and offer support to wearers 🙌

A symbol for non-visible disabilities, also known as hidden disabilities or invisible disabilities.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a globally-recognised symbol for non-visible disabilities, also known as hidden disabilities or invisible disabilities. Some people choose to wear the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower to discreetly identify that they may need support, help, or just a little more time in shops, transport or public spaces.

Happy to get the strap at Schiphol today 🌻

The #HiddenDisabilitiesSunflower program is designed for people who have what are sometimes called #InvisibleDisabilities.

A sunflower symbol displayed on a green lanyard, which is available for free at the airport, allows the wearer to voluntarily show that they have a -disability and may need extra time, patience or help.

Burns said the lanyard could be used by anyone with a hidden disability, such as autism, multiple sclerosis, COPD, dementia and hearing loss.
