HexWord has four overlapping flower rings on a 2x2 hex grid, and each pair of adjacent rings shares two hexes between them. When you rotate one ring, two of the letters you move belong to a neighboring ring, and since every ring has neighbors on multiple sides, almost every move creates interference somewhere else on the board.
