#HeroinesRunTheShow really is a fun show, and it DOES tackle some of the darker aspects of the idol industry in Japan, albeit this time with male idols.

Although many of the same concerns apply apparently.

The episode when Aizo and Yujiro decide to “produce” Hiyori from a “potato” to cute for her childhood friend Nagisa, all the while thinking Nagisa is a girl’s name is kind of hilarious. Their inevitable jealousy when Nagisa turns out to be a guy is also hilarious. #HeroinesRunTheShow

I’ve been taking another look at #HeroinesRunTheShow, which I recently found out is part of a larger multimedia franchise but which stands well enough alone to be enjoyable on its own.

In terms of genre I think #TamonsBSide most closely aligned to #HeroinesRunTheShow, although I do think the latter is the superior show by far.

#TamonsBSide - I’m sticking with this one for a bit,even if they’re already foreshadowing a similar plot line that #HeroinesRunTheShow used a couple of years back. It’s harmless enough so far. :)
