Saturday, I was a judge at the Edmonton Regional Heritage Fair, which is like a science fair for history lovers. Students from grades 4-9 presented on all kinds of stories. (I judged 5 different presentations: on the Komagata Maru tragedy, Louis Riel, Viola Desmond, Terry Fox and the history of Confederation.)
