Heretic was an enjoyable horror film. It didn’t satisfy my high expectation, but most of the film was tense and thought-proboking. Hugh Grant was great.
I’d love to see a horror game with the same premise of making decisions based on faith.

Heretic is probably gonna make at least a few people pretty angry at it. Any time horror and religion come together, you’re in for a bumpy ride from people who will push back against it in one of a hundred different ways. That’s not to say that it’s unfair to criticize this psychological horror-thriller; it is not a perfect film. But a character who aggressively questions the faith of the two missionaries who come to his door is going to ruffle a few feathers – and let’s not pretend that isn’t what A24 is going for. But brush that intentionally
