Back in 1991, I discovered #leonardcohen through a wonderful album called I'm your Fan, where he was getting covered by the likes of the #badseeds or #pixies . Listening now to #hereitis , feels like stepping into the China trinkets collection of your aunt - plenty of respect and care for these very fragile things, but utterly devoid of interest and massively boring. I'm sure Cohen's songs can withstand a more abrasive and creative treatment.
