Today we returned the repaired Shoemaker Automaton shop display to Nikki and Jamie from Jamie's Shoe Repairs in Hitchin Town Center. We were initially contacted by Maggie, whose grandson Miles loved to visit Jamie's shop window to see the Shoemaker repairing his shoe, after she found out that he had broken down after a smash-n-grab attempt to steal him from the shop window.
He is now back home and running again with a new motor, some new bearing bushes and a bit of minor adjusting.
