Steering wheel in my car locks up at certain points. Mild crunch at 0:18. On some stretches it sounds like the crunchy thing is going to fall through the car. I use this car for Lyft/Uber. 78k miles on it now.
I got the superflu on May 14th and was basically incapacitated for 10 days. I'm also in early treatment for sleep apnea, and temporarily postponed treatment for ulcerative colitis because my Trump-loving Medicaid case worker couldn't do math and said I had 0 expenses.
I have $127.
$845 car bill was due May 8th
$166 total in debt payments due June 1st and 6th
June 9th: Tesla service scheduled, they quoted me for $180 but it may be as high as $5000 if it's the steering column. It's probably corrosion in the linkages or an issue with the electronics, but I can't see in far enough to tell. Probably corrosion because this winter was rough as hell.
$885 car payment on June 8th, but I can deal with that later if I can get the car fixed
I also can't refinance the car until I knock $11k off the loan because Elon tanked the value. And don't worry, I got this car specifically for work, before Elon became blatantly fascist. I can't just get rid of it now, or even trade it in.
