There’s not much new to say about Roula’s situation: her life is in danger, there are bombings near her, sometimes they sleep outdoors, she is terrified, exhausted, and yet she continues to care for her sons and daughter, cooking for them and looking after them.
I know that anyone who sees this video can send even 1 USD to help this family in Gaza.

A phone screen can bring us closer to anyone and any situation in the world, or it can distance us so much from life and reality that some people only watch the terror and suffering in their stories and nothing else—without getting involved, without feeling anything in their hearts or guts. I will never understand that, honestly.

Choosing suspicion or doubt instead of helping is beyond me. I’d like to know if it’s a bizarre defense mechanism, a comfort zone, or what. Anyway.
