At my university campus we are exploring using #yunohost to run multiple fediverse platforms side by side. Also good for #etherpad for group work and #hedgedoc for web publishing.

TeamtypeImagine a protocol like #LSP, but for adding real-time collaboration to existing text editors. It would allow #Neovim to edit a #Hedgedoc, or peer-to-peer pair programming between #VSCode and #Emacs!

Brian "bex" ExelbierdI needed feedback on some conference proposals. But I didn't want to paste markdown into Google Docs (it never comes back out right).
So naturally, instead of just emailing the drafts, I spent the weekend customizing a Hedgedoc v1 instance on a tiny VM.
It runs on SQLite, supports anonymous edits, and I even patched the CSS for better high-contrast colors and comments.
The yak is fully shaved.

And nobody tried to offer me a dubious LLM solutions that they don’t understand and I had to understand by reading up on two handful special functions, I never (or at least rarely used) before.
