When is heavy water (i.e., that formed with deuterium instead of simple hydrogen) formed in the universe? Very early into protoplanetary system formation, it seems!
«Our detection indisputably demonstrates that the water seen in this planet-forming disk must be older than the central star and formed at the earliest stages of star and planet formation,” shares Margot Leemker, lead author on this paper, and a postdoc with the Department of Physics, University of Milan, Italy. “This presents a major breakthrough in understanding the journey of water through planet formation, and how this water made its way to our Solar System, and possibly Earth, through similar processes.”»

New ALMA data traces water found in comets, and planet formation, back to the dawn of the cosmos Highlights: Astronomers using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) have made a first-ever detection of doubly deuterated water (D₂O, or “heavy water”) in a planet-forming disk around V883 Ori, a young star. This means that the water...

Under the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran agreed to redesign and repurpose the reactor for peaceful uses and limit plutonium output, while heavy water sales were permitted under oversight.
What is the Arak heavy water reactor?
The Arak heavy water facility is located about 190km southwest of Tehran.
Construction began in the early 2000s as part of Iran’s broader nuclear programme.
The site includes a heavy water production plant and the IR-40 reactor, originally designed with a 40MW thermal capacity. Heavy water moderation allows for research, isotope production and the generation of plutonium as a byproduct.
Study offers a potential pathway for safer, non-addictive pain management
"The study showed that when D₂O passed through the TRPV1 channel, it suppressed pain signal transmission and achieved effective analgesia."
They studied both human cells in vitro and mice. This is good since another study found that D2O activated sweet taste receptors in humans, but not in mice -

Researchers from the National University of Singapore (NUS), in collaboration with Peking University, China, have made a discovery regarding the TRPV1 (transient receptor potential vanilloid 1) ion channel and its role in pain perception.
"What did you learn at that seminar?"
"Water is made of one atom of oxygen, and two of hydrogen."

@YourAnonAI OFC it is easily absorbed as Trithium as they released it is just superheavy water.
Worse: like #HeavyWater, #SuperheavyWater inhibits some chemical reactions when #Tritium instead of #Hydrogen are in use, since it has quite different configurations...
