SIP Training Level 1 begins on 02/19/26 and offers licensed and pre licensed mental health professionals a comprehensive introduction to spiritually integrated psychotherapy. This training is designed for counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, pastoral counselors, addiction specialists, and graduate students who want to thoughtfully explore how spirituality, religion, and the search for meaning influence both clinical work and client experience.

The Spiritually Integrated Training Program is a multi disciplinary, inter spiritual, multi racial learning community centered on education, connection, and professional formation. Participants are invited into a structured learning process that emphasizes ethical responsiveness, clinical skill development, and personal integration. The program recognizes that spirituality is often woven into clients’ histories, coping strategies, belief systems, and understandings of self, world, and relationships.

Level 1 includes a 15 hour continuing education curriculum taught sequentially through five three hour courses. Topics include the foundations and ethics of spiritually integrated psychotherapy, developing spiritual conversations in therapy, spiritual assessment, and spiritually integrated interventions that work with both spiritual resources and spiritual struggles. Learning methods include interactive seminars, role plays, small group dialogue, and case illustrations to support practical application.

Beginning on 02/19/26, SIP Training Level 1 provides a grounded foundation for clinicians who seek to integrate spirituality into psychotherapy with clarity, care, and ethical integrity.
