Ready for the #Riders game, got an amazing #BC #VQA #wine by #TheAudacityOfThomasGBright its a white and normally I don't care for white wine but this one is great. Plus, for the riders we got a #Saskatchewan red, a #haskap. It's our first try of this wine, hopefully it's good.

Berries in my honeysuckle or haskap bushes (Lonicera caerulea var. kamtschatica) are starting to ripen. Berries are blue but still quite sour, so maybe after couple of sunny day those are ready. Place where I planted the bushes is not the best possible and I need to consider moving those to more sunny location in the garden. Blueberries are still raw but in the woods first bilberries are ready to be picked. I just love this season towards the autumn.

@helenclayton. The bees seem happy with their lot. The more pollinators the better. We are one day into the weather and blossoms for honey bees. The honey berry shrubs have enough blooms to draw bees. The native bees are around but out of sight. #pollinators, #nativeplants, #minnesota, #honeyberry, #haskap.
