It’s in the hands of the proofreader. It’s 253 entries (woof!), so we’re going to give him some time.
Final entry added to the issue was ‘Shôrkýnè', because of course we omitted the most obvious note of all!
Text of the next Atlas Keléstia issue is complete. It’s now in the hands of a reader for comments on the text, and after responding to his notes, it will go the proofreader. So likely this month, but late in the month.
It includes 249 location entries. Woof.
Progress is actually happening on the next Atlas Keléstia release. A bit of roadwork on the map to do. But text for the notes is up to about 95% written. And it’s a big one — about 250 location entries!
Likely to be another few weeks before publication, as once the actual issue is ‘complete', we have to give the proofreader time to work through it all.
We have posted updated versions of nine Atlas Keléstia issues. Changes to the issue data and notes are minor, in some cases trivial, but we have modified the layered map PDFs to also include the halftone vegetation & relief layer as was introduced with the publication of AK#51 last autumn.
The list of updated issues is at https://www.kelestia.com/node/1188
If you’ve purchased any of these, check your account page, click on the Files tab, then the issue name to get the new version.
More manors on Shkn-J8 than we would have guessed due to all the wilderness, but it’s going to be a big AK issue. But oy, let’s hope we quit running into discrepancies in the working copy about clans who live at multiple manors (either holding them or acting as reeves or mine masters or whatever). Which again, tonight, second time this week. -r
A New Year’s msg has been posted to Kelestia.com homepage. It notes the expected product releases in 2026 (the HMK GM Kit, the Palithane kingdom module, and four issues of Atlas Keléstia). Also of note, the freebie HMK document package on the website has been updated to add a new Armour Builder spreadsheet.
Now up on the Kelestia.com website for our premium users, two local maps by N. Robin Crossby of settlements on Chélemby whose holders are involved in a feud (as mentioned in the Chélemby Kingdom publication, pp. 57-58). These are just maps, no keys or labels or text, but they should be easy enough for Hârniacs to put to good use.
More info at https://www.kelestia.com/node/1180
The holidays may seem quiet, but we’re expecting a couple “freemium” items to be posted to the Kelestia.com website any day now. Something to do with Chélemby.
* where “freemium” means "free to Keléstia customers who have previously spent a few pounds on the website store”
Happy solstice to all who celebrated. -r
