USB-C looks simple but in reality, it’s not.
The BLE caberQU checks what a cable can actually handle. It measures the maximum data speed and charging power (up to 240W), evaluates overall cable health and verifies which USB standards are really supported.

It also reads the cable’s internal e-Marker chip, analyzes pin connections and measures electrical resistance to detect hidden limitations.

Weekly GNU-like Mobile Linux Update (13/2026): Spring Cleaning

This past week: A PINE64 Community Update with (no actual?) news on a PinePhone 2, Phosh 0.54 release candidate tagged at Chemnitzer Linux-Tage 2026, postmarketOS announces archival of unmaintained devices after v26.06, first batch of Jolla Phone preorders ready to be completed, and way more. Collected in a city known for a famous tragedy. Enjoy!

GHUL update – frontend work in progress 🧪📊

Right now I’m developing the GHULbenchmark GUI locally on my own machine.
The focus is not “pretty graphs”, but measurement correctness.

The visualizer already detects sensor glitches (they always happen),
marks them as outliers, and filters them out for calculations and analysis –
so averages, peaks and ratings stay meaningful.

This is slowly turning into a real measurement lab instead of a gaming dashboard.
First impression attached. More to come.

Tested Next.js native deps on riscv64 hardware (Banana Pi F3). Results:

✅ Sharp WASM: Production-ready (604ms resize 1920×1080, zero crashes)
❌ Prisma: Broken (WASM parser bug, no fix)

Hardware testing beats speculation. 2,400+ lines of docs updated with real numbers.

Building Next.js SWC from Source for RISC-V: A Journey Through the ring Dependency Maze

Picture this: You’ve got Next.js running on riscv64 architecture, but it’s painfully slow because you’re stuck using Babel instead of the blazing-fast SWC compiler.
