A shameful event now little talked about. The #HardHatRiot showed how easily manipulated and divided by the wealthy ruling oligarchy (who dominate BOTH political parties) the working class has proven to be over social issues and “culture”. Working people are right to be resentful and angry about being forgotten and left behind. But it’s proven difficult to guide working people away from divisive culture issues to shared economic ones.
