The Afghanistan Electricity Company has announced that the import of electricity from Uzbekistan has been cut off due to storms in the Tashqorgan Gorge area of Samangan province.

Company spokesperson Qari Mohammad Sadeq Haqperast stated that this disruption has caused power outages in Kabul and surrounding provinces.

He added that technical teams have arrived at the site and electricity will be restored soon.

A plan to rehabilitate and reclaim land along the Amu Darya River was approved at an inter-ministerial committee meeting.

The Prime Minister's Office for Economic Affairs stated that, according to the plan, the initial focus will be on rebuilding the damaged land, followed by the establishment of agricultural and livestock farms, and processing factories.

The inter-ministerial meeting also instructed the development of a plan to identify suitable locations for car dealerships in several areas of Kabul city.

Sources have told Al-Marsad, an Afghan news agency, that the firm stance and decisive position of the Islamic Emirate has forced the Pakistani administration to seek talks and negotiations through various channels.

These sources stated that certain politicians within the Pakistani military regime, tribal elders, and retired generals have encouraged and requested assistance from some countries to accelerate efforts to halt the war with Afghanistan.

Al-Marsad, citing analysts, says Pakistan’s claim that Afghanistan requested negotiations is false, and that this baseless propaganda indicates the Pakistani military is resorting to bad faith tactics and coercion.

According to the source, the Afghan government has left the door open for understanding, but has clearly responded to mediators, who are backed by the Pakistani military regime: “The Islamic Emirate will engage in talks only when it is certain that the Pakistani military regime will genuinely approach negotiations and not deceive.”

Overall, there is a belief that the United States wants to use Pakistan to target American assets in Afghanistan, effectively rendering Kabul defenseless once again, rather than direct engagement.

Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations Security Council, Vasily Nebenzya, has stated that Afghanistan is fighting against terrorism, but concerns remain.

Without naming any country, Nebenzya said that foreign terrorists and their foreign funding could destabilize Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate has consistently presented concrete evidence and documents regarding Pakistan's involvement in the funding and equipping of ISIS and shared its concerns with everyone.

This comes after the Islamic Emirate’s air force conducted airstrikes on ISIS sympathizers’ hideouts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Orakzai, and other areas during the war with Pakistan, killing several key figures.

The Russian representative also praised the Islamic Emirate’s efforts in eradicating poppy cultivation, but expressed concern over the production of synthetic narcotics, which also has foreign roots, and deemed international support essential in this regard.

The President of Iran, Masoud Piravani, says that the country will not submit to any pressure and will not bow to bullies.
