First day of #vacation. Up early to reapply weedkiller to lawn; almost finished when the sprayer broke - to hell with it & the weeds. Surprisingly easy no traffic, 5 hour drive to #CapeCod. Ate dinner at Moby Dicks in #Wellfleet. Enjoyed a pleasant dusk at the beach with Mrs & dog, watching lightning in a distant storm. Now going to bed listening to a gentle raind through the open window. I really love it here. My #happyplace.

Can see you sitting, but not what you're doing.

Prepping wool in my apple tree's shadow. #happyPlace

This #caturday Lucy just wants to chill with me on the sofa. Her being Lucy, of course she's in her pouch. Upside-down 😂

I'm glad she doesn't have smelly feet.

»WordPress Market Share Declines ...«

Very interesting post by Roger Monte from the Search Engine Journal.

Apparently the decline began after Mullenweg initiated his public attacks against WP Engine in the fall of 2024.

And personally I can confirm that:

WordPress used to be a kind of »happy place«, and it has lost that appeal after Mullenweg began to insult and ban community members at random.

WordPress Market Share Declines For Six Months In A Row

WordPress is facing a sustained decline in market share while other platforms remain stable and growing in popularity.

@swan_tower I’m going to violate two of your precepts for another recommendation, because the books are that good. I didn’t read these recently, and I guess they’re well-known to a lot of people, but I think sadly unknown to many others who, like me, would ordinarily never think to read a book marketed as #RomanceFiction :

#EmilyHenry , especially
#BookLovers
#HappyPlace and
#FunnyStory

They’re funny, moving, smart, sweet, and clever.
