This punk rock classic was a huge hit in Finland, and it was also featured in a popular movie ("Täältä tullaan, elämä!", https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081672/). I didn't live in Helsinki at the time, but it definitely registered with me and my schoolmates, as we named our class newspaper after it.
Maukka Perusjätkä's follow-up was also a massive hit ("Vaatteet on mun aatteet", https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qP1H86vsEo), but he soon faded from the scene. Many members of his entourage went on to national and in some cases international fame in other line-ups, including the Hanoi Rocks.
