I’m not sold on #HangoverSquare. It’s got too much tortured artist and the facile, inaccurate treatment of mental illness is disturbing. George Sanders’s improvised last line sums up the attitude of the time: better off to let them all die, even though we haven’t proven anything.

In my remake, Sanders’s character would be the murderer, successfully framing a vulnerable, innocent man. That would be #NoirAlley. #TCMParty
