Credir mai yma treuliodd Owain Glyndŵr ei ddyddiau olaf yn cuddio rhag y Saeson. Yma roedd ei ferch Alys yn byw sef gwraig Syr John Scudamore oedd berchen yr ystad hon.

Probably it was here that Owain Glyndwr spent his last days. This is where his daughter Alys lived after marrying the estate owner Sir John Scudamore.

The date is supposed to be the same as final attack in 1839.
