Home Depot--Say NO to ICE--back at Home Depot! · Mobilize
We're standing on Route 9 near Home Depot, with signs urging drivers to boycott Home Depot until they say NO to ICE. We also have some other tricks up our sleeve.
Please bring signs specific to not buying from Home Depot. And please sign up--if the weather turns out to be terrible, we can let you know if we have to cancel.
ICE has been targeting Home Depot parking lots across the country, where day labor people (often immigrants) gather to pick up work. ICE just swoops in and grabs people. Home Depot's response--silence. So we are telling people to boycott Home Depot until they tell ICE to stay out of their parking lots (which are their private property.)
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We expect hosts to ensure all participants in your event uphold this commitment. We recommend all participants review our safety and security resource before your event: https://indivisi.org/safety.

Detained and Separated: The Human Cost of U.S. Immigration Policy on Families and Children · Mobilize
The Indivisible Lincoln Square Immigration Committee will host a forum on family separation and detention on Thursday, April 16th from 5:30-7:30PM at Sulzer Regional Library. Speakers will include the Chicago City Council’s Committee on Immigrant and Refugee Rights, the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, and Paral & Associates—who will discuss local immigrant demographics.
Background: ICE resumed the cruel practice of family detention as part of the administration’s broad attacks on immigrant communities, including militarized enforcement, mass deportations, and increased surveillance. ICE detains children—including infants and toddlers—alongside their parents, where families wait to see if ICE will remove them from the U.S. or if they will be granted protection and be allowed to remain in the country. In addition, 11,000 children are now separated from their families due to immigration actions.
Join us to learn what we can do to free children and families.

Rally for Trans Visibility 🏳️⚧️✨ · Mobilize
Visibility is power — and our community is showing up loud. Let’s stand together, stand with Kansas, and make visibility undeniable!
Join us for the Rally for Trans Visibility as trans-led organizations and allies unite to center trans voices and demand a future where our communities are safe, seen, and celebrated. Together, we are demanding full access to healthcare, accurate legal documentation, safe and stable housing, food security, and the fundamental resources every person deserves.
We are standing in solidarity with our community in Kansas and across the country as we face coordinated attacks on our rights — including devastating rollbacks in access to gender-affirming care for minors. Our youth deserve protection, affirmation, and the freedom to thrive — not political interference in their healthcare.
This rally is a call to action: trans rights are human rights. Whether you’re trans, an ally, or still learning — your presence matters. Be part of the growing coalition fighting for safety, dignity, and liberation for all trans people.
