My ADHD is showing. I finished this before Christmas, even took the finished photo, and then completely forgot to share it.
I strongly recommend felting as an easy, low impact craft for even the worst of tired days! It's also very easy to felt over mistakes, making it great for the self critical!

Used the winter holiday to finally do an amigurumi project that i bought the kit for last spring ^^ I’ve done plenty of crochet, but this was my first amigurumi, so I’m really happy with the result :3 and it pushed me to hone my skill of crocheting by written instructions, finally feeling comfortable with it ^^ i should do more :3
This year I am trying to have a routine in a hobby, which I almost forgot: crochet
It is completely underrated, because this activity is a good brain training. You have to focus on one thing and can't swipe after 3 seconds.
Completing a project needs a lot of time, energy, patience and will power.
The learning curve is steep and I find it somehow more complex than coding, 3d-modelling or any other handcrafting things.
If someone things this is something for old women. WRONG! This is challenging.

One of my lucky remaining pre-tariff purchases. I envisioned working on this in the Spring, but since I let my little choose what project I work on next, joke's on me.
It's a good distraction from the dumpster fire of world affairs & my own nauseated exhaustion. I can beautify my part of the world, one stitch at a time. It has a technique I've never tried before; equal parts excited & nervous.
