George Russell, attuale leader iridato, rimane il grandissimo favorito al volante della Mercedes numero 63 ma, quello che è cambiato, è il rivale al titolo piloti. Secondo gli esperti Sisal, infatti, il britannico deve guardarsi le spalle dal compagno di scuderia Kimi Antonelli, reduce dall'hat trick (pole, giro veloce e vittoria) in Cina.
