Our final night in Fukuoka. Spent most of the day cleaning our apartment and shopping for souvenirs, then checked into a hotel near #HakataStation. It was a tiny, tiny apartment, but I loved it and I miss it. Lots of great memories. The next day we would catch a flight to #Sendai. #博多駅 #仙台
DEC 31 2023 (part 1 of 2)
(Apologies for the late posting: I would've done it yesterday but started feeling run down and today it's definitely a cold or similar.)
Went to #SumiyoshiJinja, then to a near-deserted #HakataStation, then back to #TenjinStation. It was dark and also deserted, but #koto music was playing in the underground mall, and I sat for several minutes with my eyes closed just listening as it reverberated around me.
DEC 21 2023: Finished my shopping today, then went to #HakataStation to see the decorations and the lights. #博多駅
