Did radio production on a great Something Blue show featuring Jeff Beck, Ray Gomez, Nigel Harpur, and Delta Legends. I also did a podcast telling the story of "Hog Jowl Blues". I played chill jazz piano at Stage Too and read "I Dreamed That I Woke Up" and "Gimcrack's Cup" at Word Play Cafe after my show.

Worked on Something Blue and my anonradio shows. Went to John Shepherd's WhatEverLand studio outside of Wynne, Arkansas, for a session with Delta Legends. Came home tired and hungry.

Worked on organizing musicians (I know) for the KASU Fundraiser on March 20. Cut scrub in the yard with my stubby electric chainsaw. I love it. Took a long rest (nap). @dadget and I enjoyed our Thursday night D&D campaign at Gamers Haven.

February 18, 2026 - Ash Wednesday
At Bible study we are finishing the book of Genesis and about to move on to the Gospel of Mark. Yard work. A nice nap. Played with the United Gospel Trio, recorded the Brookland Methodist Free Jazz Ensemble (kids too young to think they don't know how to play music), a fellowship meal, and an Ash Wednesday service. Lent is upon us.

School today so extra practice. I visited with John Spencer today and he recorded a Christmas song. This afternoon jazz improv lesson, maker space, northernlights, and small group rehearsal. That's enough for one day but I'm sure I'll find something to do when I get home.

Saturday, February 14, 2026 - Valentines Day
I got up and thought it was Sunday so I went right to work on Something Blue thinking I had two hours before I had to go to church. Then Megan got up and said, Aren't you helping with the Food Pantry this morning. The light dawned. I wasn't even really late. then I went to Library Game Day.
Now I'm back home working on Something Blue.
