Ando cacharreando y le he instalado macOS Sonoma al ThinkpadT480 y va asombrosamente bien.
My 14 yr old got the itch yesterday to make my 2014 Asus laptop into a hackintosh since I'm no longer using it as a media server. Spent all day at it, but didn't crack it.
Then this morning around 8:30 I get the alert on my phone "Macbook Pro has joined your network" 😊
Very proud of that kid.
Status:
1. The trackpad is clicky to do mouse clicks, but only in the parts that my main laptop's trackpad is NOT clicky.
2. So its not as slow as it seems, I'm just finding clicking challenging.
3. No Wi-Fi devices detected. I need to find out:
a. Is this fixable?
b. Can I fix it on the USB key, so I can try the computer running linux with working WiFi?
The music software installed on this computer, in OS X, is years out of date but it does work and was/is a large financial cost. Would a student or musician get more use out of an old, slow ableton live or an old, slow linux machine that depends on an Ethernet cable?
