#HackerJourney Day 1: Today I successfully cracked two passwords from a CTF from the local cybersecurity club using different tools. The first password was for a password-protected zip file, which I've seen before mostly from shady sites that ask for you to complete a survey before getting the password. I used John the Ripper for that. As soon as I cracked that, I found inside the zip a file titled shadow. I was stumped, but @archwizard gave me a helpful hint. Eventually used hashcat... (1/2)
