Sweetest mashup I've ever made, a reverse of one I made 3 years ago. Almost never do this. I assume people will jump on making the inverse if it gets any traction, but seemingly nope.

Fountain of Wayne vs Taylor Swift - think I might prefer this version?

tbc aka Instamatic - Dorothea's Reversing Into Hackensack (Fountains of Wayne vs Taylor Swift) I almost never make mashup industry' *ahem* people call inverses - reverses of tracks I make...I usually try it both ways *double ahem* and often the way I do it works best. This is a rare exception - a mashup I made 3 years ago. I always assume people will just make inverses if you make a mashup that gets attention - the original made a Bootie best of as a bonus track, played a fair bit on Bootie's Twitch stream - but nope. And it's another for the 'flannel 1990's challenge' and bending a few rules - firstly yes Taylor wore flannel on the cover of Evermore where this song is from 😛 Yes Fountains of Wayne were a 90's band - Radiation Vibe was a total jam of mine in '96, they toured with Smashing Pumpkins - but this song came out in 2002.... And it's the sweetest mash I've ever done. I made it for a laugh, and thought dropping Taylor down one semitone would fail, and it would just be for lulz but actually...it works? And it's just...*swoon* Fountains Of Wayne - Hackensack Taylor Swift - Dorothea

Still taking this in… last night I received an official proclamation from the Mayor of Hackensack recognizing my achievements.

I’m deeply grateful to my hometown, and also to everyone near and far who has supported me, believed in me, collaborated with me, taught me, prayed for me, and rocked with me along this journey. None of this happens alone.

So much love and appreciation to all of you. This one really means a lot. 💙
