After former Houston Police Chief Troy Finner told the Houston Chronicle the city and police department were trying to cover up a scandal involving more than 200,000 suspended cases, Mayor John Whitmire said he will present a comprehensive report on what happened.
Houston Police have gone through over 107,000 of its 264,000 suspended cases, and have filed a total of 54 charges as a result, according to Houston Police Chief Troy Finner.
