RJE: распределенные вычисления эпохи мезозоя

Говорят, что современная технология разделения ресурсов в концепции ЦОД берет свое начало с появления RJE — Remote job entry , или удаленной пакетной обработки. Утверждение спорное, однако сам по себе механизм RJE интересен прежде всего с исторической точки зрения, поскольку его можно считать как минимум предтечей различных терминальных систем. Вот об этом механизме, а также об использовавшем его железе мы сегодня и поговорим.

Lange rumgesucht, wieso meine #AX25-#Prüfsumme nicht passt.

Stellt sich raus: AX25 hat gar keine Prüfsumme. Nur der #HDLC-Layer darunter, aber um den kümmert sich zum Glück der #TNC.

Damit klappt das Dekodieren soweit und ich mach Schluss für heute.

Ich bin noch etwas unschlüssig, ob ich die Textausgaben vom #TNC im Hostmode parsen möchte oder in den KISS-Mode schalte und die Telegramme selbst zusammenklöppel (der TNC arbeitet dann nur als dummes Modem, das alle Frames mundgerecht vormontiert angeliefert bekommt und einfach durchreicht).

Da ich im simpleren UNPROTO-Mode (das #AX25-Äquivalent zu UDP) arbeiten will, macht letzteres vermutlich mehr Sinn.

Und was ist schon Retro-Feeling ohne #HDLC und #CRC-Berechnung zu Fuß... 😬

- The #HDLC and Universal Serial Bus protocols use the opposite convention: a logical 0 is transmitted as a transition, and a logical 1 is transmitted as no transition.

@acw maybe #HDLC has a longer one
