Åland Pride 2025! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇦🇽

This week is pride week on Åland Islands and today we had a parade through the town, from the Western Harbour to the Marketplace, with about 500 participants. It's a really nice gathering, warm and cozy, surely very different from big cities (I've never participated pride parade anywhere else). Tomorrow we will have a rainbow mass in the church.

I just wish that everyone, everywhere, would have the possibility to be who they are, love who they want, dress as they like, and walk on the streets of their hometown waving rainbow flags, carefree and safe. 💗🌈

This is now one of my absolute favorite movies. I've been crying trough the screening almost all the way trough.
It is three beautiful stories about #queerness, #HBTQIA+ and being #trans.

The movie follows three very different stories about three different people. It will soon release to theaters and hopefully streaming soon.

All the proceeds from the movie will also be donated to relevant organizations.

Ett hundratal deltog i årets upplaga av Skövde Pride.
Deltagarna tågade genom staden till tonerna av Queen och Lady Gaga och skanderade slagord om rätten att älska den man vill.
En bred samling föreningar och organisationer från LO och Vänsterpartiet till Svenska kyrkan och Kulturlabbet fanns representerade.
Paradens destination var Kulturhustorget där deltagarna fick lyssna på flera talare och artister.

Den sista frågan var om hur jag identifierar mig.
Alternativen var: man, kvinna, transperson och icke-binära.
Om den var inte den sista frågan, kunde jag berättat hur fel den är.
Jag vill att de samlar statistik om bemötande av transpersoner när vi söker vård, men jag är också kvinna.
