Oh, Amateurfunktreffen Dortmund nun anstatt Westfalenhallen jetzt in der Stadthalle Kamen? Am 25.10.? Scheint zumindest verkehrstechnisch günstig gelegen zu sein.

#HamRadio. e-bay ordered a Japanese WWII era Morse Code key (Telegraph key) with a training oscillator, that features adjustable tone frequency, a 'light mode, and a combination. It also features a 2 C-cell battery holder that has experienced a battery leak failure. And the key is missing both it's shorting strap, (I don't see obvious provisions for that) and a knob for the key.
Debating whether I care about doing a historically accurate re-build on the oscillator, or if I just fix the battery\

@bud_t I just checked into the #FediFridayWinlinkNet using the WA3WLH-10 2m packet node via the CMLBK digipeater.
This time I used the Kenwood TH-D75 HT over Bluetooth instead of the IC-9100 I usually use for packet. What a marvelous HT this is! All on battery power.
EFHW 100’ over the tree, QMX+ & QDX on their way back from the W1NC repair shop, general upgrade exam scheduled. When all this comes together, I’m going to have a lot more waves at my disposal than I ever have!
