343 studios still struggling with a Halo game where Humans besides Chief matter. I can't imagine them giving us another Sgt Johnson or Miranda or Jacob Keyes. I also can't imagine them focusing on a new threat or plot device for more than one game anymore, compared to how tightly H1-3 work together.

Instead they love an endless stream of meaningless faux-imposing sci-fi babble that they yeet into Proper Noun Purgatory after 1 game, robbing it of any gravitas
