On #ThisDayInHistory in 1935, #Nazi Germany's racist #NurembergLaws were extended to the #Roma and #Sinti peoples (sometimes called #Gypsies) and the #AfroGerman population. There were sharp restrictions on employment & marriage, and both groups largely lost their citizenship.

In the ‘Sinti Workshop’ in Koblenz (Rhineland-Palatinate), a Sinto from the Reinhardt family restored old furniture.
The hedgehog is something like the heraldic animal of the Sinti, hence the stuffed hedgehog in the shop window.
