#Space1999 34 (1976) - 8/10

1️⃣ One of the better Y2 episodes. Again, it feels like a story we've seen on #StarTrek. This is the one where they meet God, or at least someone claiming to be their god. It's a bit slow at the start but, other than a dumb sequence where the core characters are tempted to fall in love, it actually plays out really well for most of the runtime. And, despite being studio-bound, it is an episode that looks great in almost every shot.

2️⃣ #GuyRolfe is a good guest star.

Remembering Edwin Arthur (Guy) Rolfe (1911-2003), the English stage, film and TV actor, born in London #OnThisDay. His screen career spanned seven decades, with roles for Hammer (The Stranglers of Bombay, 1959) and Amicus (And Now the Screaming Starts!, 1973), and as elderly toymakers in Stuart Gordon's atmospheric Dolls (1987) and several Puppet Master movies (1991-99). Particularly memorable as the title character in William Castle's marvellously ghoulish #MrSardonicus (1961).
